The new rubber bits Waldhausen are made of polyurethane. Use a rubber bit exclusively for horses that tend to produce too much saliva. Rubber is a soft material. The wear of the bit is normal under appropriate conditions: however, if the bit is positioned too high in the horse’s mouth, it will wear out more quickly with its molars. Therefore, it is important to place the bit correctly.
