Timothy pellets for horses are highly palatable, low to moderate in protein, and high in digestible fiber. What “Certified Weed Free” means
Noxious weeds are invasive plants that grow aggressively and take moisture, nutrients and sunlight from native species. As they spread they smother those plants and cut wildlife off from food, nesting areas and water. A “Certified” forage has been inspected and is free of them — so buying certified forage helps keep noxious weeds from spreading onto private and public land, and it is what allows these pellets into National Parks and forests.
