The firmer Flex construction provides more pronounced feedback than softer versions and is particularly suited to horses that tend to lean on the bit or become heavy in the hand. At the same time, the tongue port creates additional space in the centre of the mouthpiece.
The mouthpiece is made from a firm synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and horse-safe. Its smooth, rounded surface combines stable contact with clearly defined feedback.
