- Mouth width 5 ½”.
- Cheek length 5″.
The Showman® Junior Cowhorse Twisted Wire Dogbone Snaffle delivers a quick, defined signal with a short-shank design that balances feel and control. The three-piece dogbone mouth features light twisted wire bars for added texture on the tongue and bars—helping refine responsiveness without being overly harsh. Its dogbone center breaks cleanly, keeping cues clear and independent from side to side, making it ideal for shaping flexion, bend, and softness through the poll.
The 5″ cheeks provide moderate leverage for lift and rate while maintaining a direct, readable feel. This bit transitions easily between snaffle and shank pressure, making it a favorite for tuning, everyday training, or competition horses that need a touch more authority while staying light in the face.
