The Argentine shank delivers a quick, responsive pickup with mild leverage and a clean, easy reset, keeping communication light and straightforward in the rider’s hands. Its balanced design offers clear, direct cues without overwhelming a horse that already rides soft, making it a dependable option for everyday work, tuning, or refining body control. The shorter cheek encourages a steady feel that supports bend, rate, and alignment without creating excess pressure.
The three-piece smooth lifesaver mouthpiece uses a flat center ring to distribute pressure evenly across the tongue, reducing palate pinch and eliminating the nutcracker effect of a single joint. This design keeps each side independent, improving lateral clarity and encouraging softness through the jaw, poll, and body. Polished edges help maintain comfort and acceptance, making this mouthpiece a forgiving but effective choice for broke, responsive horses.
