The Argentine shank delivers a fast, responsive pickup with mild leverage and a clean, easy reset, making cues feel light, direct, and easy for most horses to understand. Its shorter, balanced profile supports soft vertical shape and consistent bend without overwhelming a horse that already rides broke and supple. This design makes it an excellent choice for riders who want refinement and rate while keeping communication approachable and clear.
The mouthpiece combines copper-wrapped bars with a medium port fitted with copper rollers. The wrapped bars create warmth and encourage salivation, helping the horse stay relaxed through the jaw and tongue. The port offers gentle tongue relief and a more defined vertical cue, supporting lift, rate, and collected body control. Copper rollers add movement to keep the mouth busy and accepting, reducing tension while promoting a quieter, steadier connection. This setup suits horses that benefit from clarity and lift but still need softness and moisture in the bridle.
