The Blue Sweet Iron Flat Eggbutt Bit with Lozenge from Shires has a 14mm mouthpiece designed to distribute pressure over the horse’s tongue and bars to encourage acceptance and contact. The lozenge prevents the nutcracker effect of a single-jointed snaffle, while the sweet iron promotes salivation.
