The calf pen ensures sufficient fresh air volume for the calf, without the risk of exposing it to drafts. It also protects it from harmful pathogenic germs.
In the calf pen, the animal does not rest directly on the ground, but on an elevated grid. The calf is therefore kept warm and dry.
The two-part gate is ideal for teaching calves to use the feeding bucket. The farmer can leave the pen without disturbing the calf’s sucking.
