Velari 3 Rings Bit Flex Single Jointed Medium – combines a single-jointed Flex mouthpiece with a 3-ring configuration, providing a clear and stable connection for horses that benefit from a balance between softer contact and additional structure. The different rings provide multiple rein attachment options, making the bit a versatile choice for consistent schooling and more advanced training.
The 18 mm mouthpiece features a medium-firm synthetic coating with a smooth surface. According to the manufacturer, it is made from non-toxic, horse-safe synthetic materials. The medium firmness provides additional stability compared with softer Flex options, while the material is designed to encourage active chewing and relaxation. The mouthpiece is shaped to distribute pressure across the tongue and bars.
The movable construction encourages additional activity in the mouth and supports a responsive connection with the rider’s hand. According to the manufacturer, the Velari 3 Rings Bit Flex Single Jointed Medium is suitable for stronger horses, horses progressing in their training and horses that benefit from being ridden with greater collection. The Medium version can also provide a transition for horses moving from a softer to a firmer Flex mouthpiece.
